- Outstanding Research Publication Award
One award in each of the following research fields: Bioinformatics & Functional Genomics (BFG), Cell & Developmental Biology (CDB), Ecology & Evolution (EE), Environmental Physiology (EP), Genetics & Molecular Biology (GMB), Microbiology & Plant Biology (MPB), and Radiation Biology (RB)
- Outstanding Research Communication Award
One award in any research field for presenting posters, talks etc. that received recognition.
- Outstanding Achievement as a Teaching Assistant Award
One award for promoting excellence in teaching.
- Outstanding Leadership Award
One award for serving Biology and McMaster community (initiatives, event organization etc.).
