Ontario Biology Day 2014

The 27th annual Ontario Biology Day (OBD) conference will be held at the University of Toronto Mississauga on March 22 & 23, 2014. We are excited to invite undergraduate research students and supervisors from across Ontario to attend.

OBD celebrates our undergraduate students and showcases their research accomplishments. We expect approximately 200 undergraduate students to present at the conference, and we are excited about the peer learning and the collaborative experiences that will result. The OBD 2014 conference involves both scientific and social activities that are planned over the weekend. The conference will be opened by the neurologist and astronaut Roberta Bondar (via Skype), and will have a banquet (followed by a DJ and dancing) with a keynote session given by David Evans, the palaeontology curator form the ROM. Patrick Gunning, a cancer researcher from UTM, as well as Dan Riskin from the Discovery Channel, will also be giving invited lectures.

We look very forward to seeing you on March 22nd and 23rd!
