| Ontario Biology Day, now in its 24th year, is an annual
meeting where 4th year Honour's undergraduate students from Ontario
universities present the results of their research projects. It provides
a great opportunity for biology students to meet students from other
schools and to identify potential supervisors for graduate work. The
meetings are hosted and organized on a rotating basis by a number of
Ontario Universities.

Student Awards to be handed out at OBD 2011! We are
pleased to announce that at this year's Ontario Biology Day, there will
be a number of awards handed out to the best Oral and Poster
presentations in the following categories:
Laurier Award for best poster presentation in cell, molecular, microbial biology and genetics ($200)
Laurier Award for best oral presentation in cell, molecular, microbial biology and genetics ($200)
Laurier Award for best poster presentation in biodiversity, evolution and ecology ($200)
Laurier Award for best oral presentation in biodiversity, evolution and ecology ($200)
Laurier Award for best poster presentation in physiology and toxicology ($200)
Laurier Award for best oral presentation in physiology and toxicology ($200)
Canadian Botanical Association for best poster presentation on plants ($100)
Canadian Botanical Association for best oral presentation on plants ($100)
All OBD participants are automatically considered for these awards.
